Privacy Policy
Effective June 2026
Pulpo Bar Prep is built to need as little of your data as possible. This policy describes what the app collects, why, and the control you have over it.
What we collect
Guests play the full app with all progress — points, badges, mastery, review schedule, flagged and missed questions, exam date, jurisdiction, and settings — stored locally on their device. No account is required.
If you choose to create an optional free account, we collect your email address and sync your study progress to secure cloud storage so you can back it up and use it across devices. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from Settings → Account. Without an account, nothing leaves your device.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily study reminder, the reminder is scheduled locally on your device. You can turn it off any time in Settings, or in your device's system settings.
Data you control
You can erase all local progress at any time using "Reset All Progress" in Settings, or by deleting the app. If you have an account, you can delete it and all cloud data from Settings → Account — no email required.
Third parties
The app store you downloaded from handles purchases and may collect its own analytics under its policy. Account holders' email and progress data are stored with Supabase under their privacy policy. No analytics SDKs are included.
Children's privacy
Pulpo Bar Prep is intended for adults preparing for the bar examination. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
